Ingredients of Saucy Chicken Liver Masala

  1. You need 500 g of Fresh Chicken liver.
  2. Prepare 2 of Ripe tomatoes chopped.
  3. You need 1 of Large onion chopped/sliced.
  4. You need 3 tbsp of vegetable oil.
  5. Prepare 2 Tbsp of Vinegar/ fresh lemon juice.
  6. You need 1/2 tsp of tumeric powder.
  7. Prepare 1 tsp of coriander powder.
  8. You need 1 tsp of chilli powder.
  9. You need 1 tsp of garam masala powder.
  10. You need 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of garlic/ginger paste.
  12. Prepare 1 handful of curry leaves.
  13. It's of green/red chillies (optional).
  14. Prepare to taste of Salt.

Saucy Chicken Liver Masala instructions

  1. Soak your liver in water and vinegar for a few mins. Wash it off..
  2. Marinate liver with ginger/garlic paste, chilli powder, tumeric, coriander and garam masala and set aside for 30mins..
  3. In a pot, add oil, curry leaves, onions and mustard seeds and fry on low - medium heat. Add your whole green/red chillies (optional).
  4. Pour in your marinated liver..
  5. Saute for 5 minutes. Then add in salt..
  6. Add in your chopped tomatoes, mix well and let it cook till the tomatoes soften..
  7. Liver is ready to serve!.
  8. Note: You can skip the tomatoes and do a dry fry - still as delicious..
